In All Honesty
Who do you owe your start? I started in journalism because of a high school teacher who represented coolness with a rebellious flair. He let us watch all the Godfather movies in class because… art! He helped me understand how to question and gave me space to make mistakes. When I went to Doane College and was the Entertainment Editor of The Owl, I learned how to manage a staff and how to go after a story if you feel it might make change. My advisor was a stealth challenger of the status quo. I covered George W. Bush twice and the rest is history! Who helped you become fearless? Email us: charm@charmchix.com.
