Do You Burn It Down?

I’ve thought about burning it all down a few times. It turned into meaningful pivots and beautiful change, but at times I was full steam ahead and the match was lit.

Owning your business is nuts and wonderful and makes you want to crawl in a hole and hide and then makes you want to welcome the world with open arms.

When I see individuals taking the leap to business ownership, I shout a chant so that they might hear: “Stay the course. And budget. Take risks! But only if you have the budget!”

When the winds of change come to your industry and you feel like lighting the match. Wait. That wind will blow out the flame. So, take your sails and point them in the right direction because sometimes success comes right after the water meets the sky.
