5 QUESTIONS w/ The Frugal Fox

1) I met you about 3 years ago, since then your business has busted wide open… what is the best piece of advice for entrepreneurs to keep going?

Stop waiting to feel ready. Truly! Most people think successful entrepreneurs have confidence first, then take action, but it’s definitely the opposite. Confidence is built by doing scary things over and over. And not caring what you look like if you fail. I built my business from survival mode, and I think one of my strengths was being willing to move before I had all the answers.

2) What would a “great day” look like to you?

A great day for me is creative, productive, and connected! Matcha in the morning, take time to get dressed in a fun outfit, work with clients in a transformative way - whether that’s styling, sourcing, or helping someone see themselves differently! Time with my son, a beautiful meal, sunshine. That sounds like the perfect day!

3) How have you found your style and how do you help others find their own?

My style came from experimentation, not asking permission, and paying attention. I think style is less about trends and more about identity. I’ve tried everything and over time I learned what actually feels like me! Now I help clients do the same, but strategically. We look at body shape, best colors, lifestyle, personality, comfort, even the energy they want to embody. Great style comes from knowing yourself!

4) How did you get your start in the vintage world and how has your role evolved in this growing field?

Vintage started as necessity before it became expertise. I didn’t have unlimited resources, but I had an eye. Thrifting taught me quality, construction, fabrics, fit, and how to spot value fast. Over time that evolved from shopping for myself to curating for others, then building an actual business around styling and sustainable fashion. Now my role is bigger than just “finding cool vintage pieces”. It’s education, styling transformation, helping people shop smarter, and showing that personal style doesn’t have to come from overconsumption!

5) What are your goals for The Frugal Fox in 5 years?

The vision is evolution. The Frugal Fox started as one chapter, but the bigger goal is building a nationally recognized styling brand rooted in transformation, sustainability, and authority. I want to expand my reach through content, education, brand partnerships, speaking, and higher-level styling opportunities. More impact, more visibility, bigger rooms—but still with the same core mission: helping people feel powerful in what they wear without losing intentionality.
